Spring break plans

I don’t really have anything to do on on spring break. I want to play some StarTrek maybe draw some more and play street fighter with my brother but besides that I don’t really know. Maybe I’ll finish the season I’m on for TNG. I’m pretty sure my moms is  going to take me to another party and I’ll probably learn another song on the guitar. I really don’t have any plans.

Free post

This free post is about my brother’s new super Nintendo and how I payed a dollar for one of his controllers. The Nintendo has like twenty games in it like Mario, Metroid, Street fighter and Mega Man X all of which are awesome. My favorite character for street fighter is Chun Li because I like to do a flip and then kick them in the face, Chun Li kicks like crazy. I also like Mega man but I wish he could do more than jump and blast robots. But I play Metroid the most because I figured out how to do a moonwalk while shooting which is awesome.

Slice of Life #12

Yesterday I went to CiCi’s with my mom and a bunch of other people that went to my congregation. When we got there after about half an hour. It turned out CiCis wasn’t just a pizza place but it was like a pizza buffet. I my mom payed about five dollars plus some other money because I ordered boneless hot wings which costed extra. We sat down separately, kids on one table and the adults on the other. They put some device on our table and told us that when it buzzed the wings would be ready. I ate around 2 pizza slices when the thing buzzed. Turns out boneless wings have bones in them but I didn’t say anything because my mom payed enough already. The wings barely had any meat and I had to use a fork to eat them; four dollars for five bad hotwings is a bad deal I don’t recommend it. Anyway when we were done eating me and three friends went to a small room called fun&games in the back of the buffet. In there there were some games which were kind of lame. One game was a hockey table (basically the only good game there) another was some kind of machine that let you box, another game was called something like “House of Death 4” which was probably the worst one, the game was a T.V. with two guns in front of it, and it was looked liked the corniest game ever. The intro was a bunch of zombies attacking you and some guy saying there is no way to escape your fate, and stuff like that that game was very typical with blood everywhere. The rest of the games were things like “Catch The Prize!!!” which were also lame. A bunch of other stuff happened there but if I mentioned all of it I would be able to write a book.

Book review

I’m going to review the book hatchet. I liked reading the book but I wish he was there longer, or until winter because I want to know how he would survived then. The book is about a kid named Brian and he ends up in the woods trying to survive. My dad promised me that he would take me to the forest in his Jeep this summer but I honestly don’t believe him. Overall I recommend the book.

How to show support for MSD

I think the best way to show support for the school is to remember, and never forget. Those deaths were completely senseless, it had no reason. Just because some incompetent childish kid wanted to kill for NO reason. Taking a way a life forever is the gravest most moronic evil one can do, and he took away 17 individual lives. All you can really do is remember, you can’t bring people back from death.

Slice of Life #8

Right now I’m debating in my head wether I should continue making Slice of life posts or stop here. I  think I’m pretty bad at doing posts since I’m not good at writing and I don’t remember which prizes there are for doing slice of Life posts. On the other hand I might win something good if I continue but I don’t want to do all 31 days because then I would have to go to a museum of writing which I’m not at all interested in. Maybe I should do ten days, I think I remember there’s something good for doing ten. But I don’t know if I’ll last that long since I don’t have a lot of material. I had to do this for a post which is pretty sad, sooo... I think I’ll decide later.

Slice of Life #7

Yesterday me and my dad watched an episode of Star Trek and it was mostly about an Android called Data. While we were watching I was eating Cheetos. We watched it in the living room and he was drinking Coca-Cola. The episode was good he was reporting to another officer how his every day activities are and how he views humans. Data is like Pinocchio in the sense he wants to be a human to feel what humans feel. And he wishes this even though he can acesss trillions of books on information per second so if he wants to know something he goes to the computer and reads EVERYTHING on that subject fast. It was a good episode.

Chicago History

Chicago has changed a lot since the first permanent resident Jean Baptiste Point du Sable settled in. Now it’s all technology and apartments. But before, the first settlers were traders and farmers. There were a bunch of events such as the Great Chicago Fire and our nation’s first skyscraper. And in 1943 Chicago’s first subway opened.

Slice of Life #6

On Sunday I went to Steak and Shake with my family. My mom, my dad, my grandpa, my grandma , my uncle, my aunt, my cousin, my other cousin, my other other cousin, another cousin and I, all went. It was a long ride and most of the time I was listening to music or playing Alto on my phone. When we finally got there I ordered the chicken tenders and mint Oreo milkshake because last time the bacon burger wasn’t really a good choice because later my guts twisted. Anyway I sat down next to one of my cousins and next to my mom. While we waited for the food on the back of some paper I drew an awesome Batman with Gotham as the background. When we ate it was good food I ate the fries first because the chicken burned my tongue.

Wise quotes

The fool that does nothing in his youth and expects hapiness in old age is a numb skull
-Me

I like this one because it’s one of the few quotes I actually understand. If you don’t understand what this means let me explain. So, let’s say there’s this one guy name Rickim and Rickim spends his days playing Call of Duty lll or Fortnite. Rickim does meh in school Meh with a capital M as in he is satisfied with a B+ or on some days a C for a grade. But the crazy thing is that he wants to be a doctor when he grows up because he heard you get well paid in that job. But Rickim can’t expect that because he didn’t put any work in so he’s not going to be happy. Therefore Rickim will probably be known as a McDonalds manager. He put in Meh so he gets Meh.

Slice of Life #2

Yesterday I played like three missions on the halo reach campaign with my brother and honestly it’s the only video game story I ever felt anything for. So let me sum up the story. You are Noble 6 and you have a record of being almost a legend and you were a lone wolf type of guy, you worked solo and now you’re with a team that is awesome there was an opening on the team because someone went MIA and you’re filling his spot. You’re against the covenant, a ruthless race with an unconditional hatred for all humans. They're going to “glass” the planet Reach ending all life on it. Once you play some missions you realize you can’t save Reach and while you were trying to save it a teammate called Jorge died putting a bomb in a covenant ship the size of Illinois. You were on that mission too but you can’t leave. Someone has to do the bomb manually and stay there. Jorge is a big guy so he picks you up (by the way you’re a spartan super soldier that is super strong a project by Dr. Halsey but that’s a big story, anyway you way like 200 pounds 200 pounds of muscle) George picks you up like a pencil looks at you and says in a raspy voice “make it count”. He puts his dog tag in your hands and throws you off the ship back on planet and you watch the ship blow up. You survived the fall from space because of your spartan armor by the way. And after the ship blows up dozens of other ships the size of a state exactly like the one you were on warped into space. Jorge died thinking that because he blew up the mothership carrying most of the covenant he saved reach, and that didn’t happen it was a pointless death and you look at the dog tags in your hands. So sad, the first time I ever felt sad because of a story created by bungie. You’re teammate died thinking he saved an innocent planet when that wasn’t the case. And he’s not the only one. EVERYONE eventually dies sacrificing himself to complete the mission except you and the sniper. And it’s all so sad but it’s an awesome story. Me and my brother stopped playing right when the second to the last mission ends; it ends by you watching the ship that carries masterchief leave. So when I get back on I’ll play the last mission. The last mission is you on Reach alone, the mission is called Lone wolf and the objective is
to survive.

By the way Halo 1 begins as you, Masterchief on a ship.

Slice Of Life #1

Today when I woke up at 7:30 I felt miserable, I couldn’t breath out of my nose because it was clogged and when I got out of bed I almost collapsed because my legs were jelly. As I walked to the bathroom I passed my dog and bent down to pet him and when I did my knees hurt bad it felt like I was 80 years old. After that I put on my clothes and ID and went to check If my iPad charged overnight. I brought my computer bag and backpack and jacket to the living room. My mom was making my lunch and she told me to bring her my lunch bag. I brought it to her then put my iPad and charger where it belonged. After that I put on my jacket, grabbed my lunch bag, put on my stuff and walked out the door coughing. I really felt crummy.
